- Toads can eat as many as 10,000 insects/garden pests in a single summer. Princes eat hardly any.
- Toads can live up to 30 years, most pleasantly spent in a stylin' Spottery toad house in your yard.
- Males of all toad and frog species can sing--even under water. Place the toad house in a shady spot near a water source or provide water in a bird bath bowl or any
shallow vessel where toady can take a little dip.
- In winter months, toads burrow underground, so take the toad house inside when temperatures drop below freezing. This will prevent cracking.
